You can participate first by sending** us a snapshot of yourself with anything that you feel symbolizes your fangirlishness, along with your answers to the following questions:
Name (or whatever you go by online):
Email:
City and State/Province:
Website (if you have one):
Obsession(s) of the moment:
What makes you a fangirl?:
If you are chosen for the project, we'll contact you to set up a date to photograph you and briefly interview you in your home or in a fangirlish setting of your choosing.
**You can also upload photos/bios at our LJ community, our myspace, or our flickr group:
Fangirls featured in the final project will get a copy of the photo book and any other promo materials, as well as our eternal gratitude. And maybe safe passage from the Cylon invasion. Maybe.
Our budget limits us to North America and the vicinity of major cities (NY, SF, Chicago, Atlanta, etc), so if you're in a remote location and your budget allows it, please consider meeting us in Los Angeles or at a convention. (We'll post our convention plans and schedules on our Events page.)
If you are under 18, you must get written permission from your parents or guardian, and they must be on the premises and willing to sign a model release for you.
Please note that even if you are not chosen for a face-to-face interview, we are going to have a few "USER SUBMITTED" pages in the book, so please upload your pictures to any of the above Fangirl Project groups for review.
Send us your submissions today to stake your claim in fangirl history!
